REMEMBER GOOD COMMON SENSE?

Seven of the top ten reasons for half of all fatal accidents have to do with the mental state of the pilot or actually, just good common sense.  The causes cited for accidents are so obvious that we sometimes tend to overlook them, and that can result in our forgetting to pay attention.  Check these out:

Continues VFR into adverse weather
Inadequate flight preparation
Alcoholic impairment
Unnecessary low flying
Failure to see and avoid obstructions/objects
Poor judgment
Operating beyond experience/ability
